Afghan Young Artists Featured in Children’s Rights Art Show in Canada

From 23 to 28 October 2023, artworks submitted by Change Makers of the World from Afghanistan were exhibited at “Postcards from Around the World,” a Children’s Rights Art Show in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

The exhibition brought together artwork created by young people from different parts of the world, using art to highlight children’s voices, experiences, and rights.

Change Makers of the World submitted several artworks from Afghanistan, including pieces by Hadya Rasikh, Ali Sina Hussaini, Hassani, Rahila, Fatima, Nooria, Zulfa, Jamshid, and Elyas Amani.

The exhibition was presented with the Children’s Rights Club and hosted at Taste of Colombia in Oakville.

For the young Afghan participants, the exhibition provided an opportunity for their artwork to reach an international audience and become part of a wider conversation about children and their rights.
