On 12 August 2025, Afghan Youth Coalition, Change Makers of the World, and partner organizations joined the global celebration of International Youth Day, recognizing the ideas, energy, and leadership young people bring to building a better future.
For us, this day is also an opportunity to place Afghan youth and their voices at the center.
Afghan girls and boys participating in our programs shared their messages, hopes, and aspirations for the future. Through this initiative, we are bringing their voices to a wider audience and encouraging people to listen directly to what young Afghans have to say about their lives and futures.
International Youth Day also reaffirms our commitment to stand with Afghan youth, amplify their voices, support their development, and create opportunities for their education and participation.
Despite the challenges facing Afghanistan’s younger generation, their ideas and ambitions continue. We believe they should have the opportunity to learn, participate, lead, and contribute to the future of their communities and country.
